It is born from the belief that interiors should be both elegant and eccentric — ceiling rosettes historically depicted ornamental botanicals and religious symbols, but this one features donuts, hot dogs, and fries. These contemporary cravings are carefully sculpted to look beguilingly like their antique counterparts, creating an irreverent object of decor that will make people look twice.

The Cosmica Rosette is a sculptural ceiling rosette inspired by the mystery of outer space. Each one of our ceiling roses is cast in white plaster, a material that has been used by artisans for over four thousand years (amazing, right?). Plaster is a safe, durable, fire-resistant and sound-dampening material, which can be easily painted – and repaired, if things don't go to plan.
It is composed of naturally occurring, non-toxic materials including lime, clay, and sand; some of the few things in life that are abundant and renewable. It is also biodegradable, and can be recycled at the end of its life cycle.
The ceiling roses in this collection will become a unique centrepiece to any room, and are crafted with love and hard work in our Oslo studio. Each one can be ordered in custom sizes, and we are always open to custom orders if there's something specific you're after.
